Cooking on board is always done by experienced crew, although guests are always welcome
to help clear up at the end of an enjoyable evening

Jealous!

Your photos are absolutely beautiful! reading through this article I do found myself growing more and more jealous by every word! I am pleased to hear you all had a fantastic time! I stumbled across this because I was looking for short break for the family and I. I'm sure the kids will love it! However i'm not sure if I will trust myself to cook on board though, not without Yacht insurance anyway!

Awesome Holiday

Absolutely fantastic five day holiday - totally spoiled for the week with the scenery, the weather, the activities and especially the accommodation and the hospitality...can't thank you enough Eddie and Helen.
Each destination was more beautiful and stunning than the next. Visited Loch Sunart, Muck, Rhum, Skye and Loch Moidart. The bay at Sky where the Cuillin Mountains could be viewed from a truly magnificent angle was totally awe inspiring. We kayaked, walked, swam in the sea and ate great hearty food looking at absolutely beautiful scenery. Feel like we’ve had 3 holidays all in one with the places we’ve seen (I could go on and on).
To be honest, words cannot really describe how good it was... you really have to experience the full package. Well worth every penny... We’ll be back.

Retired

We had an exciting evening sail around Scarba where it is separated from Jura in the south by the famous Gulf of Corryvreckan with its whirlpool. We viewed the most breath taken sunset we have ever seen.

Thanks Eddie - we all had a wonderful time early Sep 2010 - could be tempted by a life on the ocean waves. Thanks also Helen - great hospitality, good food.

1st time in Scotland,Fantastic.....

What a fantastic time we had onboard Shingleback.
We visited many islands and lovely locations. We liked Tobermory. Had lovely meal in a local hotel that Eddie organised for us on the final day of our charter
Can’t wait until next year as we intend to go a bit further on Shingleback.

See you soon

Magical!

What a birthday surprise! A trip to the enigmatic St. Kilda on board a boat that looks like it's just sailed out of Monaco! Ourselves, my sister, her boyfriend and two of our friends were treated like royalty all week by Eddie and Tony; and just when we thought it couldn't get any better on our departure from St. Kilda, we were then treated to visits to Tarinsay, Canna, Muck, Rum and the stunningly beautiful Loch Mordart. It took us weeks to adjust back to our normal lives after the sheer excitement and exhileration of this wonderful adventure. I think we will almost certainly be back. My sister was so thrilled by it she wants to do it all again for her 30th! Thank you so much to Eddie, Tony and Helen for a dream holiday we will never forget.

A wonderful experience

We had a fantastic cruise on Shingleback. We visited Loch Sunart, Moidart Isle of Muck and Tobermory. Our favorite was our beach BBQ on a deserted golden sandy beach on Muck. The food and hospitality on the boat was excellant. I would highly recommend a cruise it will be a holiday you will never forget !

Fantastic cruise!

We celebrated our Wedding anniversary and we had a really fantastic time on board 'Shingleback'.
So many photographs to choose but I think this one of Shingleback in Loch Moidart is one of the photos that brings back memories of our cruise.
