Eddie & Helen Derrick, owners of Scottish Yacht Charter, have years of experience in the waters around Oban and the West Coast of Scotland.

Helen says, "We began coming to Oban 15 years ago and immediately fell in love with the area. Eventually we purchased our first boat 8 years ago, before moving up to the present Fairline Phantom 46 last year.

Over those 8 years we toured the West Coast of Scotland, enjoying the scenery and wildlife, getting to know some truly beautiful spots along the way."

Eddie is a qualified Coastal Skipper while Helen is a qualified Day Skipper.

Eddie adds, "Together we look forward to meeting people and sharing the ’West Coast’ experience with them. We have a wealth of knowledge of the area gained over time which we are more than happy to share."

Currently a student studying Psychology at Edinburgh University, Sarah has enjoyed sailing ding's and small keelboats over the years and has been helping out as part of the Scottish Yacht Charter crew over the summer months.

Sarah enjoys meeting new people and is keen to build up her knowledge of the West Coast, when not busy with student life.
